How can we help?

Questions, bugs, feature ideas — here's how to reach us, and answers to the things people ask most.

The fastest way to reach us is email: hello@vineacellar.com. Vinea is a small operation, so you're writing to the people who actually build the app — we read everything, and we usually reply within a couple of days.

Reporting a bug

The easy way

In the app, go to Settings → Report a Problem. It opens an email that already includes your app version, iOS version, device, and sync status — the details we'd otherwise have to ask for. Your cellar data is never included.

Whether you use the in-app button or write from scratch, the reports we can fix fastest include three things:

Common questions

Where is my cellar data stored?

In your private iCloud database, on your device and in your Apple account — not on our servers. We can't see it, and there's no account or login. The full story is in our Privacy Policy.

Why isn't my data syncing between devices?

Sync needs both devices signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive enabled and a network connection. Check Settings → Storage & Sync in the app — it shows exactly what Vinea sees, and explains what to fix if sync is unavailable. Changes can take a minute or two to appear on the other device.

I got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?

Your subscription is tied to your Apple account, not the device. Install Vinea, then open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Your cellar itself comes back automatically through iCloud once you're signed in.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Vinea — you keep Pro until the current period ends. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we're not able to issue them ourselves.

How do I back up my cellar?

Every batch screen has a free Export Batch… that produces a complete, restorable file. Pro adds full-cellar backup and CSV export in Settings → Data. We recommend exporting a backup before any big change — like deleting batches or switching devices.

The AI gave me an odd answer.

Ask Vinea works from the readings you've logged — sparse data means cautious, hedged answers, so the single best improvement is logging more readings. And remember it's an informational tool, not professional enology advice; the Terms of Use spell out its limits. If an answer seems clearly wrong, we'd genuinely like to see it — screenshot it and send it over.

Feature ideas

Tell us what's missing. Vinea's roadmap is shaped by what home winemakers actually ask for — several shipped features started as a two-line email. Same address: hello@vineacellar.com.
